When i heard that they were going to make a remake of Friday the 13th I was wondering how they would approach it e.g. who would be Jason, what would the story be like. I was hoping (as a fan of the original films i was hoping that Kane Hodder would come back)
My first thoughts of the film was how good the script was and how well Derek Mears played Jason. I have to admit how he found his mask was a little disappointing but I can't see how anyone could have made it better. I could see elements of part 1, 2, ,3 and to a lesser point part 4 Platinum Dunes done an excellent job on it.
I really hope they make a sequel and looking at Brad Fullers blog they probably will
